At just 20 years old, Ann became a nationally certified master groomer through the National Dog Groomers Association of America (NDGAA), a distinction that set her apart from others in the industry. She has since served as a Certifier for the NDGAA for 27 years, helping to train and certify the next generation of master groomers.

Ann even served as a 4-H Swine leader for 7 years.

Beyond her animal-related pursuits, Ann is a mother of 6 boys, a Reiki Master Teacher, and an author and partner of the Mastery Grooming Series with Irina Pinkusevich. To ensure a successful workshop, it’s essential that our site hosts can guarantee a minimum of 20 attendees. Together, our program and site hosts collaborate to create a harmonious and synergistic event. Persistence, organization, and patience are key qualities that contribute to your effectiveness as a site host. Rest assured, we are fully committed to providing you with all the necessary support and resources for a seamless and exceptional Mastery Series workshop experience!

Can I come for just one day?

If you can only make it for one day, we suggest the first day, but it will still be the full price of the workshop.

What’s the difference between hands-on an audit?

Hands-on requires you to bring a dog to groom with coaching from Ann and Pina. Auditing is participating without a dog – watching, listening, and asking polite questions while others are grooming.

If we don't have a dog, do we leave once hands-on starts?

No, you will stay and ask questions, watch, listen, and actually learn quite a bit by just doing that!

Where and when do we prep?

We recommend you prep before you come, but if you are not able to you can ask the site host and pay a donation fee for using their facility.

Can we bring our dogs both days?

You may bring your dog both days if you have to travel to come to the workshop and are staying in a hotel. Please be courteous to those around you if you have a loud/obnoxious dog, you will need to stay on top of it to avoid disruptions.
